The short version

Cold email that filled the guest list for Instantly.ai’s GTM show. 2,140 founders got an invite that named their company and a topic they could teach. 272 replied, and 85 were accepted as guests.

01

Instantly Show is Instantly.ai’s GTM show, hosted by Eugene Kadzin and streamed on YouTube, LinkedIn and X. Its guests had been booked through LinkedIn and X messages, where founders with big audiences rarely answer.

I built the cold email that filled the guest list: who to invite, where their emails came from, the line in every email written for that one founder, and the sending. A generic podcast invite gets ignored, so each one had to show we knew who the founder was and what they could talk about.

AI Ark found them and Apify pulled their LinkedIn profiles and recent posts. A Clay waterfall across ten email finders, Findymail, Hunter and Prospeo among them, kept only verified addresses, checked again with MillionVerifier. Past guests were taken out.

    Research

Scripts built in Claude Code read 8,398 company websites. Grok and Claude Haiku 4.5 on OpenRouter turned each one into two lines: the founder’s industry and a topic they could teach.

Every yes went straight to Eugene’s inbox, where his team picked the guests and booked the recordings.

In the first seven sending days, 126 founders said yes to coming on the show: 7.2% of everyone emailed, and 70% of the human replies. By 11 October the campaign had reached 2,140 founders and drawn 272 replies (12.7%), and Eugene’s team had accepted 85 as guests.

The first email, the one with the line written for each founder, did most of it: a 10.5% reply rate, 34.7% of replies positive, and 78 of the 85 guests. For scale, the same Instantly workspace had run 25 earlier campaigns with a different offer: 39,758 emails and 66 opportunities. This one passed 54 in its first 2,651.

By step: the first email, the one with the personalised line, drew a 10.5% reply rate and 78 of the 85 guests. The follow-up added 7.
